The missions of the PAA are to:

a.) Initiate, sponsor, encourage, and promote Portuguese cultural activities within the upper Cape Cod Area of Massachusetts;

b.) Instill among members of the Portuguese-American Community a sense of pride in their heritage;

c.) Encourage the study of Portuguese History, Language, Art and Sciences;

d.) Promote among the members of the Portuguese-American Association a genuine feeling of warmth and good fellowship.

 

Today there are almost 200 Portuguese and non-Portuguese members in our membership. Membership is open to any person of good moral character, who manifests a genuine interest in the mission of the organization. The PAA was founded in 1979, and the facility, called "The Navigator", was constructed to serve the interests of the organization and as a facility that can be rented.
